OUR CURRICULUM

Our Earth Keeper Year-Long Programs are made up of three seasonal blocks: Autumn, Winter and Spring that make up a total of 30weeks for the year. We follow a Wildcraft Wheel of the year centered around the animals and plants around us as well as the seasons we are immersed in.

Earth Keepers school is a process that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning in a woodland environment. Research suggests that children learn best from experience, by using their senses actively rather than passively. The varied outdoor experience we provide in Earth Keepers gives children space and independence, and a chance to imagine and learn social skills. Our adult-guided activities build new skills, vocabulary and the ability to manage risk, creating a positive self-identity and laying foundations to be a successful lifelong learner.
